Everything is Perfect in Each Moment
I believe we are all motivated by our need for love and approval. We seek love and approval from so many outside sources, yet the most important person we need to accept this gift from is ourselves.
Several factors can separate us from love and approval:
Self-criticism
Comparing oneself to others
Judgement of oneself and others
These factors rob us of self-confidence and trust. As we recognize our own perfection it becomes easier to welcome love and approval.
There is a lot of pressure to be “Perfect” and the standards we place on ourselves can create so many layers of discontent – the internal voices begin to surface and as a result we begin to feel depleted. When I can recognize that everything is perfect in each moment, there is less pressure.
Do I make “mis-takes” – of course… Do I have regrets – of course… Could I do it differently – of course… Am I doing the best I can in this moment – of course…
It is important to remind ourselves that we are all doing the best we can in each moment… and… there is always room for improvement… Remember it took many attempts before the light bulb was invented – each day presents the opportunity for new discoveries, leading us to our goals. If we focus on the “mis-takes” as a negative, nothing can change… If we focus on the “mis-takes” as an opportunity for growth there is no stopping us…
The choice is ours – am I willing to love and accept myself and know I am “perfect” in this moment… or do I stay attached to my old ways… I encourage you to open to your perfection and welcome love and approval into your life.
Today I…
Know I am doing the best I can
Release myself from all criticism and judgement
Stop all comparing and wrong making in my life
Accept everything is whole and complete in this moment
And so it is…
