Accepting Your Personal Best

As I have been watching the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games, I’ve heard the broadcasters announce… “This was a personal best for….” When I hear those words I get very excited for the competitors…

I believe we are all motivated by our need for love and acceptance. I believe loving and accepting ourselves is the most amazing gift of all. We live in a world where we endeavor to be the best we can be … our organs undertake the tasks to ensure optimum health and vitality… our minds are in constant competition for truth… our emotional well-being depends upon love and acceptance… our spiritual connection thrives in the tenderness of love and trust…

As I live my life, I realize how important it is for me to be aware of my “Personal Bests” as they show up each day… Yes, each day…

When I compare myself to others’ experiences, I deny my personal best… How can I be in the joy of my life if the comparisons create a division and separation, from myself and others.

Do I have to win a Gold medal… or are Silver or Bronze medals good enough? Is my participation and presence in the game enough? I say yes… show up in your game and no matter what the results you can be assured – you have achieved your Personal Best

Today I…

Accept I am Enough

Move to another level of personal excellence

I bear witness to my “personal best” in this moment

I champion myself in my day to day life

And so it is…

Love Liz
