Be Kind and Gentle With Yourself
With the current economic downturn we are
experiencing, I wanted to write and remind you to be kind and gentle with
yourself.
Challenges regarding money can cause stress
and old fears may show up… The worry about not enough
money or loss of it…
or the negative patterns of self criticism and judgement may kick in…
All of these old negative patterns do nothing
to take care of us. The best way to deal with these
negative feelings is to be kind
and gentle with yourself.
Ask yourself: “Was I doing the best I could?”
“Knowing what I know now, what steps am I
prepared
to take to change my relationship with money and create a new
loving approach.”
I believe conscious spending and personal
stewardship of money are a few keys to creating balance in one’s financial
life. By
clarifying one’s relationship with money we can
begin to make new choices. The most important part is to
stay out of “beating
yourself up” for past decisions.
Honour yourself, recognize you are doing the best you can and silence the voice of criticism, and remember… Be Kind and Gentle with Yourself.
Today I,
Create a loving, respectful relationship with my money
Trust the process of life
Know my income is constantly increasing from expected and unexpected
sources.
Am kind and gentle and loving with myself and others
And so it is...
