Weathering the Storms of Life
As the rain falls and the wind blows, and reminders of the change of season is upon us I reflect on the beauty of the Storms of Life. There are always challenges surfacing as we live within this human experience.
Some storms are easier to weather than others, and yet, we all manage to find our way through. The rain and wind storms churn up the ocean and the ocean surf hits the shore. At the end of the storm the shoreline is forever changed – evidence of the storm emerges with new pieces of driftwood, shells, starfish or a total change in the shoreline itself.
The same occurs as I weather my life storms – there may seem to be a lot of chaos during the process of change and then when I relax and reflect on what is present I become aware that there are so many blessings as a result of the storm…
An old relationship rekindled or an
abusive one released…
Old dreams replaced with new possibilities…
Letting go of the old limitations and welcoming new levels of
deserving…
Releasing pain and allowing my body to heal…
Releasing FEAR and welcoming new levels of support…
Appreciating success and welcoming more abundance…
Learning to acknowledge myself and appreciate my contributions…
Out of every storm there are
gifts… Look at the landscape of your life and be a witness to
the shifts which are underway… There are so many amazing things
still waiting to reveal themselves… Enjoy the journey…
Today I…
Open my heart to new opportunities for change…
Appreciate the gifts of my journey…
Release the past and welcome change with ease…
Accept success…
And so it is…
